Compliance, HR, Investment Banking, China Capital Markets, FP/DP, CBS, Private
 Banking, Wealth Movement, IFI, Trade Finance, etc.

Specific Guideline:
• The candidate selected for this program will rotate 2-3 times through
various HQ functions and LOBs over about a 12-18 months period.
• 4-6 months for each rotation, to gain exposure to a wide variety of bu
siness, products and services.
• Each shall work in at least 2 HQ functions and 1 LOB
• Each shall have at most 1 rotation outside Beijing.
• This Internship will combine on the job learning with meaningful work
experiences.
• Rotation is according to associate qualification, interest and company
 needs
• Each one will be assigned one mentor and the mentor will assist the im
mediate manager of Associate on performance appraisal.
• Upon successful completion of the Trainee program with proven performa
nce record, the Associate will be selected by HQ or LOB for a new permanent jo
b.

Manager Responsibility:
• Manager assigned set performance assessment plan within 2 weeks upon R
otainee's start in this dept and communicate with him/her within 2 weeks.
• Manager assigned shall seek opinion /input/from Mentor of the Associat
e, and provide written performance appraisal reports within 2 weeks after each
 rotation.
• Be consistent at all time and remember to track, measure and report ea
ch rotation timely.
• Keep the assignments challenging.

Mentor Responsibility:
• Mentor is responsible for coaching Associate via monthly communication
 with assigned Associate.
• Mentor is responsible to provide sustained feedback to manager and ass
ist manager on performance evaluation of the Associate.

HR Responsibility:
• Program and process design, candidates selection and dispatch.
• Organize BMO overview orientation.
• Resources coordination, including: arrangement of rotation and mentor
arrangement, performance appraisal, final evaluation, etc.

Trainee Duties:
• Performing a variety of tasks as assigned by Dept. Head. These assignm
ents will vary widely from day to day.

Trainee Qualification:
• Highly motivated individuals who can work well in a matrix environment
 and adaptable with team work.
• Must possess excellent communication skills, research and analytical s
kills.
• Proactive and has attitude to go a step beyond what is required.
• Ambitious and would like to move fast in their career.
• Mobility on both job and location assignment.
• General knowledge of financial strategy/accounting/economic/capital ma
nagement principles/analysis.
