Intern in Transaction Banking (Dept.: GTB)

Intern Period: 1 year
(We'd like to ask for a intern who is willing to work with us for a whole year)

Availability: more than 4 days per week (junior student preferred)

Working Location: LuJiaZui Shanghai

Tasks to be performed by the intern:
1. Help customer to create payment templates in Velocity
While switching to our Velocity from other bank's e-banking, customers often request bank to help create payment templates, which contains necessary payment beneficiary information. Such a task would help customer to use velocity easier and move balance to us quicker as the consequence.

By average each customer would have 300 payment templates to be created.
2. Raise urgent payment notification to customer.
Important customers have requested that their payments via Velocity would have to be processed within 0.5-1 hour, while the current Ops processing interval is 2-2.5 hours.The intern would help monitor velocity incoming payments from all branches in China, and raise notification to Ops timely.

3. Answer customer in-bound calls through Velocity hotline
We have 3 FTE to answer the in-bound customer calls through velocity, while they have to travel out-of-office often for customer meetings as implementation. When these FTEs are occupied by other tasks, the intern would answer and log customer calls, and then route them to appropriate parties.

4. Other administrative works

Other requirements to the intern:
Junior student or 2nd year as post-graduate with financial related major
Related intern experience in banking will be preferred
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient English skills
